My story

I grew up playing team sports, with rugby always at the centre. That competitive background taught me early on how much preparation, resilience, and smart training matter — and how frustrating it is when injury gets in the way.

After leaving school I studied Strength & Conditioning at degree level, then built my coaching experience in a school athletic development setting before moving into one-to-one personal training. I wanted to understand how to coach real people with real lives, not just athletes in a fully resourced environment.

I went on to work with Premiership rugby clubs, delivering Strength & Conditioning and supporting athletes through ACL rehabilitation. Those environments demanded precision, clear communication, and the ability to bridge the gap between rehab and high performance.

Alongside that work I recently completed a Master's in Sports Physiotherapy and a full-distance Ironman. Both experiences reinforced the same principle: progress comes from consistent, individualised work that respects where your body is today while building towards where you want to be.

Today I work with individual athletes across different sports — football, golf, rugby, triathlon — helping them recover from injury, build strength, and perform at their best.

Alongside that, I coach general population clients who want to move well, feel strong, and stay injury-free for the long term. Whether the goal is longevity, fitness, or simply keeping up with life without pain, the same principles apply: smart training, consistent habits, and a plan that fits the person, not just the sport.

The journey so far

What shapes the coaching

Team sport roots

A background in team sports, predominantly rugby, gave me an early understanding of what it takes to prepare for competition and recover from setbacks.

Academic grounding

I studied Strength & Conditioning at degree level before recently completing a Master's in Sports Physiotherapy, blending performance science with rehab expertise.

Professional S&C

I worked in school athletic development, moved into one-to-one personal training, and spent time with Premiership rugby clubs delivering Strength & Conditioning and ACL rehabilitation.

Endurance mindset

Recently completing a full-distance Ironman reinforced my belief that consistent, patient progress beats shortcuts — whether you're returning from injury or chasing a PB.

Longevity for every body

From general population clients to competitive athletes, the goal is the same: build resilient movement habits, stay injury-free, and keep performing at any age or stage.
